At one time, Adidas created the barricade 5 and it was a serious shoe for serious players. Then they axed the barricade 5 and replaced it with a decent, but not as good, barricade 6. Now, once again, Adidas is doing away with a perfectly good shoe and replacing it with the sub-par barricade 7. I am an avid player that needs plenty of solid support. This shoe doesn't have it. It's better suited for a beginner/intermediate player.
